Sam, As usual, your blog makes me think. I have been thinking about whether Science and Religion (which I will call Faith) can coexist. I think yes. Science is the act of seeing the world as it is, even if seeing means harnessing the deepest levels of technology. Religion or faith rely on seeing what is unsee-able. Science is in the world of the how, as in 'how' does that work while Faith is in the world of 'why' as in 'why is that so'. So, science can tell us how old the earth is or how long, on average people live, faith tells us why some people do not attain the length of days. Not only do they co-exist, you could think of science taking us just so far and faith taking over
