Day 202 - May 21st






A fracking job in the mountains of Chile. The center tanks hold water for hydraulic fracking and the gout of flame is burning off natural gas released by the mining activities.

Enormous oil rigs rest in a dry dock awaiting deployment in the oil-rich Gulf shelf.

An offshore drilling rig that drills until it reaches 'payrock.'

Lewis and Clark Article

I often imagine I hear this opening whistle as though coming from a great distance in the sky in front of me and I wonder if it isn't the sound of something I'm chasing. Lead on, Mr. Bird!
